Hitchens apologises for nothing…
…when it comes to the Iraq War. As well he shouldn’t, because he was, and continues to be, quite right.
I hardly agree with him on everything, (I remember when he was on P.J. O’Rourke’s “blacklist”) but I’ve been agreeing with him often enough within the past four years. He’s an Old Guard Liberal, but that changes nothing. (I remember arguing with one self-identifying liberal who insisted that Hitchens isn’t one because he once wrote an article criticizing Clinton. Attention liberals: doing things like that will get you laughed at. Refrain if you don’t want to be.)
